This morning on my 5:30 AM drive to work, I flipped through quite a few channels on my Sirius radio. I head Men at Work, Dire Straits, and Ace of Base.
That's right folks, I heard Ace of Base's song: The Sign...and I listened to the entire damned thing. I even sang along. Out loud. Very loudly.
Every time I hear that song, it reminds me of a girl (then again what song doesn't?). I find it funny that this girl, who used to seem like she held entire universes in her hands, is now little more than an idle thought in my head when I hear Ace of Base on the radio at 5:45 AM on a Thursday.
As I write this, I realize that some of my LJ friends might not even know Ace of Base. This blows my mind. I'm getting old...(To Quote Simon Pegg in Shaun of the Dead: "I'm 29 for Chrissakes.")
Ok before this post enters a black hole of soul suckitude, I'm going to leave it at that.
Watch me.
I'm leaving.
Not going to think about getting old anymore...
fuck
