I went with Chris to the military hospital today for a check up on her throat abscess.  The doctor poked and prodded it with a q-tip, tearing it open.  It hurt a lot but he said it looked to be healing.   Now we just have to wait for the test results to come back from the material they pulled from it.  Chris feels much better and she is regaining her color, but the events of late have caused her to miss almost 2 weeks worth of work...and money is tight around here.  We'll see how things go.
